Hello, hello again.

Things are going well here. It's busy. This was actually the first week-end I've had for myself in a long time. It was glorious. I didn't do anything but watch tv and clean/laundry. Which was MUCH needed. Let's see. My kids at school are doing fine. I hate middle school and want to kill them constantly, but I think I expected that. My high schooler's are still wonderful. They're doing well and I'm teaching them how to transpose cause they had never heard of it before. Quality teaching they had going on here, le'me tell ya. My 5th graders are up and down. They're progressing nicely but get a little wild sometimes. We're calming that down though. I think I almost have my study hall convinced I'm the coolest teacher ever. We're playing games and Friday we watched a movie. Today they get brownies for the game we played last week. I'm working on them.

The boy is doing well. He's enjoying his new job, even though he's playing hookie today to come see me, and getting caught up on bills. Family is good. Gab-e is 7 months. You can look at her progress pics on myspace. The baby's name is going to be Sophie Louise and we're all anxiously awaiting her arrival. It looks like we're doing Christmas in OK this year so I don't know if I'll get the chance to come out, but I'll try. Things are going smoothly for them though. Mom, Dwayne, Tina and Janine all left San Juan yesterday for a cruise. It should be fabulous but I'm still trying to picture Janine in a bathing suit.

Life in general is pretty dull. I don't do anything that's not school or driving home for various reasons. Mom's been taking me to do lots of neat stuff... Mamma Mia! on stage, Kenny Chesney concert, Labor day trip to the creek, but she's about as exciting as my social life gets. Everybody here seems content in their own little worlds and I'm still an outsider. Oh well. That's life and at least I'm getting paid for it.

I think you should make a point to keep up with that teaching blog of yours. I know you're busy, but it will help. And I want to know all about school and your teaching and the funny/stupid shit your kids do. I'm always putting that stuff in my blog, which you should read. Today I had a 5th grader compare concert blacks to Christianly dress but Gothic!!!! I laughed for 10 min. I couldn't help it, Oh man. Still laughing. Ok, I'm off to lunch duty. I love you dear. So updates...

As for my accident, I have some lovely leg scars, but I'm doing okay. I'm sick and keep coming close to losing my voice. Darn kids :) I can't wait for a break. It seems like I'm living for Saturday, spending all weekend recuperating, then going at it again. Mom and Dad are officially separated as of today. It's really weird. They seem to want to stay together, but they need to do this. I don't know how it will turn out.

How's work? The kids? The boy? Family? Life?
